Quiet Stream Shiatsu

Emily Fowke, Shiatsu Practitioner (MrSS), in Central Cambridge

Shiatsu/acupressure massage is great for stress conditions of many kinds, also for muscular aches and pains, period pains and p.m.t., digestive issues, insomnia, fatigue, joint pain and eczema - to name some.

Shiatsu/acupressure works on the body's energies in a subtle way, but it also has a direct impact on the fascia, and on circulation and lymph flow.

Shiatsu is very good for grounding and centring the mind and body and for allowing energy to flow well.

'The central aspect of [shiatsu practice] is respect and support for the self-healing Ki which manifests in [the] receiver...universal yet unique to each individual' (Carola Beresford-Cook, a founder of Shiatsu College, UK)
